Walking in the winter wonderland

winter is here!!!!!!!!

since Friday last week it's been cold, rain, cold and more rain. yup winter comes early this year. it's also been snowing up in the mountain. and Reza, being always in love with winter, keeps on asking 'wanna go to the snow?? let's go to the snow...' i simply replied, 'errr...??'

and so i made bread n butter pudding this morning - i made the mix ready to be baked last night actually, so that the bread soaks up the liquid. nothing beats a nice and warm dessert in cold weather. and plus we had on the menu, rhubarb bread n butter pudding for dessert at work last saturday, i was craving for it.. the pudding, not the rhubarb though. and i thought i still had dates in my pantry so i didn't buy any sultanas!! and it turned out that i threw the dates out and i forgot!!! so it's just plain honey and strawberry jam bread n butter pudding..i even forgot to put vanilla in it!! this is what happens when i rush things!! forget this and that!!! bah..



anyway, the pudding turns out to be okay.. just like what i imagined.. yummm.. and lucky i still have vanilla ice cream, so i don't have to make the anglaise to go with the pudding..here's some pictures of it...


it goes really well with a nice warm cup of tea!! ahhh i'm in heaven.. hehehehe

plans for later on today: go to the city (SOON)!!! meet with the migration agent.. lunch with Reza.. look for birthday present for him (URGENT)!! then......................... no idea what's for dinner.. (bleah, i'm still full from breakfast and the dessert, i can't think of any more food, for now)

just hope it's warming up abit as the sun comes out shyly ....

i must say thanks to Ci Oni that i'm back in  touch with my old blog. 

rainnn!!! it's raining again! yiippeeee.. we need alot of rain. actually yes and no. melbourne needs rain yes! but we need rain not. the rain will only delay the house progress but i can't help it, the land is just too dry after the extreme summer we had. 

i'm thinking of what to cook for lunch already.. but what should we have for breakfast?? or rather brunch?? haha i know a nice hot korean stew would be great in this kind of weather.

wahhh,hmmm let's see, for more than a month i didn't update this, that's a record.

school's been busy, busier than last year, lots of self-studying, going to comp lab whatnots n being me, lazy as a pig i now have piles of work to do now. haiz

genetics test on wednesday but i haven't even finished studying. i still have 4 more lectures to go! need to finish it today

da housemate's gone to buy things for dinner. it's spaghetty and some salad for dinner tonight. yummmyy.

so i'm back in Melbourne.. yippieyeayyy :)

he n eva picked me up at the airport.. they were late for about 20 mins.. so i had to wait for 'em.. well it didn't really make much difference though cos we had to wait for alfa.. who was arriving at 10 am...

ahh it's so nice to be back here.. get to see him again!!! yeay yeay yeayyyyy hehehehe... oh i missed him lots

so this all coming back to melbourne trip has been pretty tiring.. the flight was quite bad.. got a quite bad seat.. damn the lady at the chcking-in counter in jkt.. she gave me a seat next to the plane's kitchen for the flight to melbourne.. and i was supposed to get an isle seat but.. the person who got the middle seat was a middle-aged ozie man.. who's kinda big-sized.. so he asked if i would change place with him.. well.. i didn't really mind.. so got da middle seat.. heh.. couldn't sleep on the plane.. which sucks big time.. and like.. every now n then the stewards/esses kept on going in n out of the kitchen.. so after lights off.. they had to keep on opening n closing the curtain.. and the noise they made.. and the light that's from the kitchen... bleah it's sooo annoying.. and.. the last one hour of the flight.. i was getting restless.. couldn't stop moving.. couldn't stop looking out the window... hoping the plane could just speed all the way to melbourne.. and i kept on looking at the screen, which they show the map of australia and the plane's route.. and i was like.. FASTER DAMN IT!!! i wanna get to melbourne now!!!! hahahah.. i was getting sick of the flight

and the jet-lag thingy was kinda affecting me as well..and the first couple of days after i arrived weren't that good.. it was really really HOT!!! like.. top of 41 deg! damn... it was really hot! thank god it's gone back to Melbourne's normal weather.. hehehe... so much better than a couple of days ago..

going out with him tomorrow.. yeay.. going to ikea is what i have in mind.. i wanna look for a tv bench thingy.. whatever you call it... and..for the rest of the day tomorrow.. i shall leave it to him and the others..

so it's tomorrow.. leaving for Melbourne tomorrow.. happy but sad at the same time.. half of me wants to stay.. half of me wants to leave.. haiz..

bro n sis-in-law came over for dinner.. and the thought that it would be the last time i'd eat Mum's cooking before leaving tomorrow striked me at dinner just now.. and is still haunting me.. sadness .. but of course that doesn't mean that it'd be the last dinner together forever.. there's always a next-time.. haiz..

anyways.. done with packing.. shouldn't be overweight.. the luggages i mean..cos i think it weighed more when i left melbourne... and i won't be bringing too many things anyway.. so should be orite..

Dad n Mum are sending me off to the airport tomorrow.. usual thing.. leaving Bandung for Jakarta at about 10 am.. this is what i don't like about living in Bandung... bleah.. we have to travel hours before the departure time .. cos we have to go to Jkt, which is.. about 4-hour drive from Bandung.. so hopefully eveything'll be orite tomorrow..

hmmm.. now where's he? i wanna talk to him

i've been complaining that i'm tired.. well i REALLY am

woke up this morning with a headache.. i thought i'd had enough sleep last night.. and till noon i still had the headache... wonder why...

went to the Thai Buddhist temple today... did a little bit of praying.. it's been some time since i went to a temple.. oh, i went to a temple with mum in singapore in december.. so it's not that long.. but eh, it's still quite some time..

i'm tired.. exhausted and really want to.. stay at home.. laze around.. just relax.. i know i know.. i've been complaining that i'm tired.. well i REALLY am.. i wish i could sleep for as long as i want! and.. when i wake up..i just sit down.. look around me without having to think of what's gonna happen next.. or.. what i'll have to do next.. just.. sit down.. not say a word.. and if there's anybody talking to me.. i'll just have to smile at them .. and they know what i'll say.. hahahahh that'd be cool, aye.. people don't have to say a word.. just by smiling.. waving.. or.. the look in the eyes.. and still we're able to communicate....

bleah.. okay i'm crapping too much..

watched this new Chinese show.. just released in cinemas overseas..(got a pirated dvd of it :P) .. entitled Magic Kitchen.. supposedly it's a comedy.. romantic comedy.. but.. heh.. i was falling asleep while watching it..

and oh.. managed to get a Moulin Rouge dvd.. yiippiee yeay.. :) so.. hahah he's saying that we'll watch the movie together when i'm back in melbourne..

ahh i think i shall end up in da dreamland soon.. zzZzzzZ

sista's leaving for Shanghai tomorrow, immediately after work.. which means .. she won't come home before leaving for JKt.. to depart.. *sigh* so that means i'll have to get up early tomorrow.. to say bye with da sista.. cos she won't be back in indon when i'm leaving for melbourne.. sadness..
